Just had 1.6 113 proceed 20000 ml service. New pads had to be fitted £107 (ouch ). Bad winter blamed for pads seizing.
Best mpg was on 1000ml trip (59 ). Normal running 44mpg. A country mile off stated 59.7.

Im quite concerned about my brakes. Im having my 20k service next week and ive got a really bad feeling that i need new pads! was that £107 for 2 pads OR 4???

all pad come in sets so front or rear sets each set comes with 4 pads20k on a set of front pads on a ceed is not normal 40-50 easy unless its a auto and have change them at low 30 i say they been binding which would cause the low milage on the pads and the poor mpg

Could be a lot worse !!
I had C-max with EPB (electronic parking brake) it would go through pads on rear in 12k and new discs needed every 20k !!!!!
