Hi guys rafter some advice.

Rio 1.1 diesel 2012 the 3 cylinder jobby. It’s taken 2 or 3 attempts to start in this cold snap and runs a bit lumpy to start with. I’m thinking it’s the glow plugs.

Anything else worth checking?
also took the cover off the top of the engine to see where the glow plugs are located but could see them, are they hidden away on this engine?

Thanks in advance.

Old school advice with diesels in cold weather is run the preheat a couple of times before trying to start - i.e. switch ignition to on, wait for coil light to switch off, and repeat, then try to start. Your glow plugs may also require changing.
