Super happy lovely drive back from Peterborough to South Yorkshire, it's a 68 plate externally it's mint! Internally one gripe is the trim around gear selector ( see pic ) it is discoloured in places black, run your finger over it's smooth as anyone come across this and if so would Kia cover it under the warranty for replacement?

Yes, there have been a few cases on the forum of the gear stick plastic silver trim going the way yours has.

Usually your Kia dealer will replace it under warranty.

Bought it from Marshal Jaguar, service history is Boongate and originally supplied by them

Had my trim replaced under warranty just last month.

Dealer replacing gear trim under warranty, upper c pillar trim in boot being replaced too as badly scratched we are paying for that though once done car will be mint!
