Maybe the previous owner did not remove their kia connect app from the head unit before selling the car.

You could try to go into the head settings and reset to factory condition. Sadly you will loose any user setting you have stored, radio stations etc.

Also delete the app on your phone, reinstall and try connecting to the car again.

Well you’ve done everything I would have done, sorry I’m out of ideas. As for pulling the fuse I know it works on the Ford Kuga without any drama but as for the Kia ? Hopefully someone here will pick up your thread and have the answer.
