I'm replacing the fuel filter on my 02 Sedonasoon.Should I fit a Halfords one at £23 or genuine Kia one at £40.
Anyone had any bad experiences with non genuine filters?

Most Halfords filters are made by the big companies Fram, etc and then branded with the Halfords name. Usually good quality and up to OE standards. Ebay always a good bet and you can usually get genuine Kia stuff a lot cheaper. For examplehttp://cgi.ebay.co.uk/hyundai-kia-sedona-ssangyong-rexton-rodius-fuel-filter-/330556453595?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4cf6b332db#ht_500wt_715
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/hyundai-kia-s..._CarParts_SM&hash=item4cf6b332db#ht_500wt_715Always best to check with seller if ok for your vehicle - usually send them the reg no and they caqn tell you.

Thanks guys. I had noticed from previous posts thatpattern filterscan cause problems but I would probably accept that Halfords parts have to perform reasonably well.

On checking the car's service records Inoticed that when my mechanic did a major service last year he fitted anon Kiafilter and it's caused no problems --- so ---- fingers crossed.
