Passenger front seat height

I'm aware you did this modification in 2017 but can you remember what length of the bolts are needed for this?
I did this modification to my previous 2016 Sportage and i used the same size washers, course it depends on how many washers you want to use as this will tell you how long your bolts will need to be, i used 2"(50mm) bolts and 6 washers to give me an extra seat height of about 20mm,

Trouble is, and i daresay this was done by KIA for a reason, the original rear of the seat bolts (back bolts) do not bolt down at 45o angle to the floor pan, they are at an angle and make screwing the bolts in very difficult, I started by doing the front bolts first and couldn`t get the rear to line up or screw in at all so ended up slackening off the fronts and lifting the seat up and just managed to catch the rear bolts and bolted them down,

After careful consideration and a sleep i went back to the car and took the bolts off and fitted the original bolts back without the spacers cos i kept thinking if i was unfortunate to be involved in a RTA and my poor passenger was injured or worse still died the insurance company wouldn`t pay out as i had fitted an unsatisfactory modification to the seat anchorage points, after all, if it was an acceptable practice then KIA would make it easier to fit the bolts in.

I did think about elongating the rear hole then the bolt would fit easier though...

Thanks for your reply!
Yes indeed length of the bolts depends on the size of spacers but I'm not going crazy and thinking of around 20mm hight increase as well so will get some 50mm bolts.
6619,
if you start from the front, loosely locate the bolts and line up the rear, you will then see what i mean about the bolts not lining up, they will go in on an angle from the back, it would be easier for you to file the hole (elongate it), that will make the locating easy, but saying that i did manage to screw all four bolts in, but be careful you don`t cross thread them..
Good Luck!
