I have had a few of these vehicles along with the Carens model with this fault.
As I can't find an up-to-date thread on this problem(OR haven't look around correctly) I thought I would start one.
It seems likely that the fault lies within the regeneration process not being able to be done automatically via the engine ECU as it needs lots of information to be within spec. i.e. constant engine speed & engine RPM alond with coolant temp, Intake air temp and on and on. The vehicle needs to be driven at a min speed of 50MPH for at least 10mins before the ecu even thiks about carring out this opperation. I am talking to KIA to find out what their plans are.
