Hiya Ross I wouldn't say it's common but might possibly indicate a blocked fuel filter or even pump low on pressure. I'm not sure if there's a tank pump on them but imagine there would be. The gauze filter in the tank could be blocked or indeed it might be a dodgy fuel rail sensor. Check underbonnet connections and earth wires.
