'P' button on nav screen

2023 Ceed SW - Only just noticed this 'P' button on the botton of the screen when using navigation. I can press it and apparently switch it from active to inactive, but don't see a discernable impact in doing so. Can someone please enlighten me to its function? TIA.

PS Yes, it obviously looks like something to do with parking, but I can't see or understand what it is doing.

It's supposedly to send you to parking if you have a destination set I think but didn't seem to work in my car.
It appeared on the Compact gen 5 a few updates ago.

Cheers. I'll have a closer look when I've got a bit more time. I was wondering if the local car parks would be highlighted when I activated it, but I couldn't see one jot of a difference whether it was active or inactive. 🙄
