Having now had a new radiator fitted in my 2006 Sorento 2.5 CRD (138hp) auto only yesterday (see my previous post), today's problem is that there's an oil leak from the turbo oil seals, diagnosed by the garage. Don't know any more than that at the moment. The car remains there as they have sensibly told me not to drive it until they can make further investigations early part of next week.

Car was driving fine, no trouble at all until I noticed oil on the driveway.

Am I looking at a new turbo?

Can the oil seals be successfully replaced (if that's all it is, of course)?

I'll know more next week, but look forward to hearing from anyone now if you have any thoughts.

I would suggest that you enquire about one from a breakers being as the car is 15 years old or find a turbo specialist? I'm not sure whether the cartridge is replaceable on this model.

Thanks for your comment. The garage say that actually it is nothing to do with the turbo after all, and there is a leak from the "oil feed pipe to the vacuum pump". To be honest, I have no real idea about this, but the main thing is the car is fixed, I'm back on the road again, and it the whole job wasn't too pricey. I've seached on this site for any relevant posts, but can't see anything obvious.
