Hi , i have just purchased today a kia 2018 with 18k on driving it home i went on the motorway and just over 50/60 i noticed the steering needs constant corrections but also it feels like a drop in pressure as if it releases if its held at a slight constant to one side, its almost like going along in a rocking boat, i have seen there is a service bulleting can i have information on this, my partner and 2 young children do not feel it is safe.

thanks any information will be great fully received

Welcome to the forum, as iooi has intimated I also suspect you have a Sportage.
If you use the search box in at the top of the forum pages you will find a number of posts about the notchy steering subject. The most likely culprit is a known issue that can be sorted under warranty and there is a TSB, see quote below.

KCS have forwarded the recommended fix to my local kia for appointment Monday

For anyone interested. The technical service bulletin reference is KFE19-61-V070-QLe
