Truth is the Picanto is a bit small for me with the seat right back I just manage to squeeze myself into the drivers seat - why buy such a small car then you might ask well I like the Rio but there is such little space between us & next doors property I used to constantly graze the mirrors on my last car so @1595 mm wide it is so easy now until yesterday my other 1/2 said what have you done to the steering wheel - *** me I was so annoyed with myself & today I noticed how I must have caught the zip of my coat on the leather what a shame I spent hours last night watching people on you tube stick super glue into scratches & scoured eBay for filler & dye & cheap steering wheel covers but Im planning on putting a little white vinegar on the scratch letting it soak in & see how it looks ....just wondered if anyone else is as clumsy as I have been & what if anything you did ?

You must be pretty large indeed. I'm 6' 2" and 93kg. There's more legroom than I need in a 2019 Picanto 3. Easier access than my Octavia Mk3.

Yes I am its what they used to call big boned but now its morbidly obese been trying to cut down on carbs & food in general but when its the only thing you get any pleasure from its hard especially when you have to live with severe depression

I fit into mine very easy however I am 182cm and 85kg wet! Over here a secont hand leather wheel is about $200 when they pop up on Ebay here from time to time.

There are plenty of specialist leather repairers who would be able to fix it for you. I had a split in a leather seat on a jag once and it was 99% perfect after the repair. Be worth getting a quote at least. Your local dealer may have a contact you can use.

Thanks but Im going to live with it knowing me Id only do the same thing sometime just have to be more careful getting in & out - I do struggle as I have dodgy knees & it is agony for a short time
