Picking up my new EV3 GT Line S this week and filled in a form to see what insurance quote I could get direct from Kiacarinsurance. Surprised to hear they said underwriters would not give me a quote based on area I live (East London) and the car. No matter as current insurers will cover the car without any problems. Its still very poor support from Kiacarinsurance

Kia do not provide insurance.
Like many manufacture they outsource via white label from a 3rd party broker.

-Kia Car Insurance is arranged by Car Care Plan Limited, which is registered in England, Company No 850195 at Jubilee House, 5 Midpoint Business Park, Thornbury, West Yorkshire, BD3 7AG and authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, No. 309268. Car Care Plan Limited arranges policies from a panel of Insurers, details are available on request. To understand how we may process your information .

Also avoid the kia accident after care. Again this is provided by one of the 3rd party companies. Which you ins co will not take kindly too, which is why they try to bribe with the ÂŁ250 excess voucher, as they is around how much extra your excess will be.

I was quoted over ÂŁ1500 from Kia Insurance. I stayed with the AA I Silver and paid an extra ÂŁ200 which is around ÂŁ700 per year, with breakdown cover. I live in Chigwell. Collect the EV3 GTS tomorrow!

I would have gone with Direct Line because I get a 50% staff discount, but they couldn't insure it as wasn't on their system. Had to go with Admiral in the end. Kia insurance wanted ÂŁ900+. Admiral was just over half that.
