Hello everyone.
I own a Kia ProCeed 2010 with a 1.4 petrol engine. For the last 2 years I have experienced an intermittent starting problem. If I drive my car for about an hour (or more) with AC turned on and I turn off the engine and then try to turn it on again the engine doesn't start. It only happens when it's hot outside ( I have never had this problem during winter). If i wait for about an hour (or more if it's very hot outside) the car starts without problems. However, if I try to start the engine without waiting I can hear the starter working but the engine simply doesn't start. There are no warning lights and if I try do start it with with another battery the same thing happens. Also, the temperature gauge doesn't show any signs of car being too hot. I took it to the official Kia garage. They say that because it's an intermittent problem there is nothing they can do.
Any ideas or recommendations on what to do would be greatly appreciated.
