Hello

So I replaced my breaklight bulb but now when I drive the car every time I break the orange backlight (the light that lets you see the speedo in the dark) turns on.

It is really anoying and also very odd.
Quick question should the break lgihts work when the ignitionis turned off? (As currently the only way
my break lights work is with the ignition running.

Also for my Kia roof rack I have lost the little plastic screw that locks the covers in place does anyone have a spare one?

Cheers

I have known this before. It was because it had been replaced with the incorrect bulb.Look in your handbook for list of bulbs and check you have the correct bulb and inserted correctly.I have seen an indictor bulb with one center contact put in a stop light. Thus this touched both contacts and put a feed back to the dash when brake applied.

Hi

Yes I had bought an AA Emergecy Light Kit and was using the break bulb from in the kit.
I will check the manual like you said .

I did wonder what the differance was between having one contact and two contacts on the bulb would make!

Cheers
