Global Service Way is a website that enables Kia owners to get information about their vehicle by giving their VIN code.

Basic info, such as whether you have deadlocks (inside door release disabled when car locked using key fob) and recall notices and so on are available for no charge.
But you must log in completing the starred fields only!
Your log in is lost after 3 months so there's no need to remember you details if you only use the site occasionally.

PS If you pay you can get Service Information on an hourly/daily/weekly etc basis!

I was quite excited about this, but it does not give access to TSBs although it does record which TSBs have been performed.

Yeah but that's only for official recalls. I was interested in the "Creaking steering" and "notchy steering" issues because mine exhibits these but only occasionally and mildly. I mentioned these at last service and they denied any knowledge of these being known problems. I let it pass as these are minor issues for me but it would be nice to be armed with the TSBs next time.

A lot of them are there somewhere - it's just a case of knowing where to look!
But I'm still working on it! :sad:
