My kia cerato 2015 w/160,000 km suddenly got EPS Failure and it disappeared after I unplugged the battery for a minute, now after washing the car EPS light and Check engine light turned on, the RPMs dropped to 0 even though the engine is running and I am revving it, same with fuel getting to 0 even though it has around half tank, I couldn't move the gear without pressing the unlock button.
I tried to test using an OBDII and got these error codes:
U0155 CAN communication error with cluster
C161600 CAN Bus off (C-CAN)
C1611 CAN Timeout EMS
I went to a local car repair guy and he tried few stuff with the wires and fuses, the problem got worse and it comes back every 5 minutes.
Any idea on what causes these errors or how to fix the EPS failure?
