Hello, need help, have bought car for my wife, have found there is oil leak from the back of the engine, looks like come from some pipe next to alternator.
If any one have any idea, or same issue, please contact me.
Thank you
Any chance of more details or photo, is it the pipe and back of alternator? Not sure on the 1.6 as have the 2.0 crdi but if it connects to black round cast item on back of alternator, this is the vacuum pump which might need new clamps as oil feed from the engine oil.
Good morning,
Thank you for your time.
I think is the same pipe, looks like a break pipe, on the top of it have little bit big black pipe witch I think is a water pump pipe.
I will go to clean the engine today and will make pictures.
Thank you one more time
Looks totally different to the 2.0 crdi as alternator is at top of engine. I would guess it might be the turbo return oil feed which will have a washer either side and the bolt goes through the centre.
