Like I mentioned, my dealer had the antenna ready for my service appointment, but I had to come back for a (not so?) common connector.... ?

I think dealers are more concerned with stocking as many types of coffee sachets as they can, rather than car parts.

Just a quick update. Boot antenna was the culprit and was changed under warranty with no payment needed by me at all (no inspection charges etc) very good service from Kia. Also had the rubber weather seal replaced under warranty.

one other issue that’s occurred though is the plastic seat trim has started coming away from the seat and can see the wires and stuff. Spoke with Kia and again this part will be covered under warranty sowill be getting sorted in a few weeks time. Assume they will just replace the whole plastic part on the seat? Apparently the clip at front of plastic trim can break which appears has happened on mine
