fitted new batt 2032 it flashes but dont open the doors is there a diagram of how to overcome this

Please try to post in the correct section for the type of car you have.

Not lost any small bits out of fob, while changing battery?

Failing that take battery out, check connections are clean & dry and correct way round. Do you have a 2nd fob that you can try? as while the lights flash, it could not be producing the signal to open the doors (try another battery) have seen reports that some duracals are not as good as they should be.

Also known fact that if the battery had died or left out of the fob for an extended period when swapping the fob will need to be reprogrammed.. I think there have been threads on this issue on the site and in the Sorento section..

remote not working!!!!

Hi guys i have a sorrento 8year old had it from new auto xe .never had any problems until month ago ,when my central locking would not work from my remote ..put the key in the door works ok,then started the engine,then hazards came on,then stayed on, so pushed in my hazard button and it was ok...

This is about a key fob issue not gear shifting and power loss issue you need to start your own thread on your problem..
