Hi,

My 2017 manual Sorento broke down today with the clutch not working. The AA man said my clutch slave cylinder had gone, as he put fluid in and it just came out the pipes under the car.

just wondered if anyone else has had this problem and if they managed to get it fixed under warranty, as I assume it should be. Car only done 50k

thanks

As long as you have fully documented service history all done at correct times you should be covered

I would argue that even with just partial service documentation, that should be covered anyway, as its not something that is serviced or even on a formal checklist as far as I know. It should be though, brake/clutch fluid is a lubricant and fresh lubricants ensure maximum life from seals.

Fortunately they aren't too expensive to fix.

Hi,

just thought I would give people an update of this. In the end it turned out it was the flywheel that broke and Kia Duckinfield were very good and fixed it all within a day and a half and all under warranty.
