hi, interior lights all work but will not come on automaticly when doors are opened.

You need to switch them on on the map light cluster.
They've been turned off for servicing or similar.

Same problem on my 2019 optima. Faulty switch,changed under warranty .

I've got an '09 carens and the interior lights stopped working with the doors but will work via the switch, Any thoughts or suggestions anybody?

If its a rocker switch does it turn on the map light on either side, in the middle position the doors should put interior lights on, push up in middle of rocker switch should put all interior lights on.mine didnt slight tapping would put the lights on, so changed under warranty.this in on a optima .
