Hi all I’m new to the forum , having just purchased a new Sportage hybrid 2022
4500 miles in and it’s developed a fault already
When I indicate , they are flashing rapidly and a warning comes up on the dash “ check turn indicator “
All the bulbs are working tho …
Any advice greatly appreciated

Hi, welcome to the forum!

Rapid blinking is indeed the classic sign of a blown bulb. Does it do it in both directions or just one? I don't know the Sportage, but are you sure you have accounted for all the bulbs? I mention it only because my Proceed has four bulbs per side: front and rear (of course!) and two in the door mirror. Easy to miss the second one, maybe the Sportage is the same? Hopefully an owner will be along soon to help you.

Warning comes on for indicator right and left also when hazards on

While parked pop your hazard lights on and have a walk round, check all the lights and see if any aren't working. That's my way to find a blown indicator bulb.

Also what trim level do you have? Some are all LED so it's a visit to the dealer to replace them.

As it's a new car then don't risk your warranty, by messing around yourself - take it back to the dealer and make them sort it out.

Ok thanks for the advice guys
Switched the car off before and locked it
Went shopping, back to car , switched on , no faults , indicators working as normal 🤔
Very strange… I Just plugged it in to my obd reader , no faults recorded
I’ll still be calling Kia on Monday tho
