Hi all,

Got a question about the ice warning light on the dash, It seems to be amber below about 3/4 degrees.

When it got really cold a couple of weeks back, below -5 the amber light went off.

Is this normal?

How have others found it?

Prob wont be that cold again for a while!

Thanks

Woohoo

From what I've read around the forums, I believe this is normal. The light is a warning for temperatures where ice can occur but may not be visible, whereas at -5 the assumption is that you would be able to visibly see if it were icy.

I don't know why the light doesn't just stay on no matter how far below 4 degrees it is, it's still a reminded that the road are dangerous, regardless of whether you can see it or not.

It's not possiable to leave the lights on. Even if you did when you remove the key they turn off even of the light switch is turned on. Also there isn't an ics chime on the proceed 4 that I know off. If there is I've never herd mine.
