Hi,

New member here, owner of a Kia Pro C'eed since 2012. Great little car, not really had any problems with it until now.

The clear coat on the front bumper is flaking and peeling away. Is there an easy, cost effective way to fix this? I would prefer to avoid replacing the whole bumper but if I have to, how much might it cost?

Thanks.

We had the same happen to one of our Picanto's also a Red one. A good body shop will sort it for you as if you buy a new bumper you will have to have it sprayed the colour of your car which in total will work out dearer.

Try the dealer for a warranty repair, the 7yr will cover poor paint quality if it's not already been resprayed due to an accident. The dealer was going to repair the peeling laquer around the grill but 2 days before it was booked in for someone smacked the front driver side wheel, wing and bumper. So we ended up having brand new freshly painted parts with no stone chips and looks like new.
So try the dealer or get someone to scuff your bumper for the insurance to fix ˜‚
