Hi - Hope someone "out there" can help me. I need help with changing a near-side front side light on a Kia Rio -(05 plate). I can see on the off-side that the back of the light fitting screws off to get at the bulbs, but there is no room behind the nearside fitting to even get a hand down.. Any clues please , MOT tomorrow and typically the bulbs start going!
thanks. Clare

If it's the Rio 1 (01-05) then you will need a 10mm socket or spanner to remove the two short bolts holding the air intake ducting in place. Thats the black plastic ducting stopping access to the rear of the light fitting. Remove the two bolts and simply pull the intake up (no need to remove from the air filter housing) and lay it out of the way. The bulb is behind a black plastic cap on the light unit which you need toundo by a 1/4 turn and pull out. There is a rubber gasket ringon this which may fall off.Best of luck with the MOT!
