Hi all can anyone help me with this problem,
the heater fans in my sorento won't turn off . I have the xs type with the climate controll even when i press the off button on the controlls the fans stay on allmost high. I have tryed all diffrent setting but they just stay the same. the heater still gets hot as normal and will get cold if i turn down the temp settings, the air con comes on as normal i just cannot change of turn off the fans.
I hope someone can help with this.

The fan resistor pack is faulty, hidden behind glovebox.

I have exactly the same issue. Did yo fix your Sorento blower problem? If so what parts are needed?

Sounds like the resistor pack for the motor has gone faulty and shorted.

Just a quick note to confirm that the fan control issue was indeed the resistor pack. Found a replacement unit from :http://...worldcarparts.co.uk/Default.aspx?TabId=144&ProductID=1399 Uncliped the glove box at the base, released the lanyard and hey presto there was the resistor pack on top of the blower box. Two screws out, switch over the pack, screw back in and re-installed the glove box. Total time 4 mins!
