One of (or both) of the struts on the hatchback of my wife's 2008 pro cee'd 3 have failed making the rear hatch heavy and not stay up. Anyone have any experience of this problem or knowledge of the cost involved to fix?

I've found a pair on amazon for £22. The seller said they are simple to fit and just click on. I'm sceptical.

Good afternoon Smellmet,

I hope those boot struts fix your fault.

They should be a simple fix by just popping on and off.

If not feel free to message me directly with your vehicle registration or VIN and I will look up the OEM ones for you.

Thanks again.
