Have just bought a brand new picanto amt 2 which drives fine but has a forward collision radar blocked message keep coming on. Someone suggested cleaning the radar sensor which is apparently somewhere behind the lower grill I had look to see anything obvious there are no leaves or crud on grill so will get on to dealer.

Take it back to dealer. DO NOT mess with it. As it's very expensive & you do not want to give them a excuse to blame you.

Normally It only trigger blocked in snow a the plastic front gets a layer of icy snow over it.

It is behind the solid plastic square just under GT

These things are expensive to replace and even more expensive to align - I've seen people in these forums quoting upwards of £1K to install/align.

Blimey that’s a lot! I have contacted my local dealer to see if they can assist me, as dealer I bought car from is over 80 miles away. I was hoping it was a leaf or something but after inspecting bumper area there is nothing apparent all looks clean.

car is great otherwise.
