I've just come back from two weeks in France , covered 1432 miles & was well impressed with the performance .
Mpg on some of the motorways was down due to the higher speed limit of 130 km (80 mph) & two lanes . But got 475 miles on three quarters of a tank & @ 130 (euros) a litre in some garages made it cheaper to fill up .

I saw three French Souls , all white & only when were was near Paris .

That MPG is impressive!

What size lump and fuel tank have you got?

Cheers

Rob.

Mines a 1.6 manual diesel .

Two adults & child plus suitcases & the AC on , would have got over 500 miles on a tank ( if I had not filled up ) the computer said 90 miles left when I filled up ( don't trust that 100%)

Most of the time mine was doing between 47 - 51 MPG , it only went down to the low 40's when I was doing 80 mph .

We went to Spain via France last winter, and by keeping the speed to 100kph mostly, achieved 54.68 mpg in our manual diesel Shaker. Just had a look at our log for the journey and on one tank I got 538 miles and it was still showing just below a quarter!
