Why in valet mode?

 

Hi, No, I didn't check it at all with keyconnect app.. I switched to valet mode to stop a thief from switching off the find my car location feature cheers

 

Did you use Valet mode on previous holiday?

 

Not seen that reported as a symptom of an ICCU problem but never say never and others may know better.

That is about 4% a day; I can think of reasons that the 12V battery may have been depleted over 2 weeks, but not the traction battery. Has it charged up again okay and now holding the charge? If not a trip to the dealer would be advisable.

Yes, it was on for the full four weeks thanks.

 

My only suggestion is did you have a climate setting scheduled for a daily warm up that was forgotten about to cancel while you were away?.

Nothing to add except the obvious that something must’ve drained the traction battery but presumably you have ruled out everything – you weren’t using a fridge in the back, no one had access and was watching YouTube videos, air/ con or heat on low etc.

I presume we’re at the ruling out stage now and trying to see if it is repeatable - so just drive it for a few days and see how things progress if all is well then perhaps leave it in Valet mode overnight and keep an eye on the battery level.

Could be a 12v issue, as drive battery does keep 12V charged if it gets to low, but will stop once drive is below 20%.

We take it that mileage was the same, & someone had not been using car, such as a valet parking co?

 

Yes i think you're right. I've charged it up and I'm now monitoring it over the next few days and will report back.
The car doesn't appear to be touched while I was away. It was locked up with a Disklok and parked on my drive at home.
