Does anyone know what this is inside the storage bin under the centre arm rest ? Looks a bit like a blanked socket, I can push the middle section in a bit, but it does not feel like a button.

Does anyone know what this is inside the storage bin under the centre arm rest ? Looks a bit like a blanked socket, I can push the middle section in a bit, but it does not feel like a button.

Thanks Kieran, you got me curious so sat in the car and locked it... Nothing coming out of that 'slot'. So I googled and found it is a safety lock, apparently actuated by extreme motion! How that storage latch pin works
Now I'm wishing it actuated when in valet mode, as that'd be super cool, if rather an infrequently used feature 🙂
