I collected my EV3 in January, and no maximum permitted tow weights/mass on my V5 either. The Kia UK website lists, under the 'specification' part of the EV3, that the maximum tow ball weight is 100kg and the maximum braked trailer weight is 500kg for the standard range 58.3kWh battery vehicles, and 1000kg for the long range, 81.4kWh versions.

The spec sheet looks weird, I'd expect the std range and long range to be the same as they are so close in kerbweight, which is the usual limiting factor. I'd believe 500kg unbraked, 1000kg braked. For both variants.

 

Power output?

 

I seem to recall that unless a car was fitted with a factory fit towbar at manufacture then they do not note weight limits on the V5. If I recall correctly it was something to do with the factory not knowing the specifications of a 3rd party towbar fitted.

The door pillar plate does mention a range of weights though.

I do not have a towbar (not available at the time of ordering) but someone with the factory fit towbar should be able to match the B pillar lines with the figures on the V5

No such thing as a factory fit towbar, it's a genuine accessory dealer fitted. Got one on my GT line S for the garden rubbish trailer. (500kg as unbraked).
