My Kia EV3 appears to default to NORMAL drive mode each time I switch the car on. Of course, the mode can be changed using the Drive Mode button on the steering wheel. However, I would prefer the car to default to ECO mode. I have set the drive mode to ECO in Setup/Vehicle/Drive Mode where it is possible to set My Drive. I would expect this to set the default drive mode for my profile but, as I have said, the car defaults to NORMAL mode each time I switch on. So how do I make ECO the default drive mode?

Its as though Kia started with a blank sheet to design the EV3. This is another setting which they have not transferred from the ENiro. To me, it seems like common sense to be able to set your Drive Mode so it engages at start up. 🤷‍♂️
