Hi everyone,bought my diesel stonic on the 10th May 2021.On the 4th June the engine management light came on ,booked in at Ringways Kia leeds 7th June got the car back same day reason given for the light coming on was a historic fault but if it comes back on bring it back to the garage ?.

I guess they read the codes & it was a old one. Did you buy it new or 2nd hand?

Hi bought second-hand from Kia Bradford 10th May 2021 (1 owner turned out to have 3) 16,000+ miles.

Fingers crossed it does not reappear.

If they told you which error code it was you could look it up.

Hi engine management light came back on yesterday ,no surprise really as all Ringways- Leeds did on the 7th was turn the light off.Booked in on Monday 21st will see what happens then.

Hi took the car in Monday 21st June 2021 got back next day with new oxygen sensor fitted .Funny thing is engine management light did not come on the Monday morning when I dropped the car off ?.

Hi engine management light back on as of yesterday 13th July, booked in at Ringways Leeds 19th July .This is the 3rd time in just over a month.Same code each time, car still drives ok.

What sort of trips do you do?

Hi a couple of trips 30 miles each way weekly 60/70 mph, and the usual local stuff probably 20 to 30 miles.
