This is how they think a car should be returned to a customer, after they have done some warranty work to the clutch & completed a Vosa recall.

The car was delivered to them last week minus any of the bird mess & leaf addition to the wipers!

I will not be using them again even though they are our local KIA dealer, I will be travelling further & returning to Joblings at Bicester for my future services & purchases, they offer a far superior customer care service.

I see their Reading branch is no better than the one local to me. Mine stopped doing free car washes after service, as they had farmed it out to a separate firm. Looks like Reading don't want to wash their customer's cars either. Hope you don't have to go back later, with a paintwork warranty claim, due to bird lime eating onto the paint - due to them!

I emailed their customer services dept yesterday, still waiting on a reply so the 48 hours dead line I gave them is drawing ever nearer, then I shall email KIA direct including one to the Chief Exec Mr Philpot

We used this dealership for some warranty work which was fine.

However they did a vehicle check and told us that all 4 tyres needed replacing ASAP. When we checked all tyres were fine and well within the legal limit. Fronts had around 3.5mm to 4mm and the rears had 5mm to 6mm. For the Continentals (19") they wanted £208 a tyre. You can get them for around £170 a tyre elsewhere.

The woman on the phone was very persistent we got them changed. I said no, and said I can get those tyres for much cheaper elsewhere. She then replied that they can supply cheaper tyres. They would have fitted inferior tyres for the price of the Continentals no doubt. Obviously I didn't fall for it, but it makes you wonder how many people do.

Any way - a few months later, we just replaced the fronts (with a deal) for around £300 all in and I got the tyre place to check the rears and he said you've still got plenty of tread left, around 5mm.

In my experience Evans Haslshaw dealerships (whatever manufacturer franchise) are generally below par
