Hi,
I am waiting for my e-Niro which is due in a few months hopefully. So, in the mean time I thought I would look around for home EV chargers. I'm thinking of getting the Ohme smart charger, but to make the most of it, I need to allow it to access the cars API to determine it's charge state.

How would I get access to my cars API? I presume I need a login? Is anyone using the Ohme charger already?

Thanks for your help.

I've just placed an order for my e-Niro and have been looking at the Ohme charger, as we are already with Octopus energy.

From what i've read so far the Kia API is not yet compatible with Ohme, although i think you can use the UVO app to control charging.

Hi Ritz,

Good news. I've just heard back from Ohme customer support and they have this in beta now (working with the e-niro). Soon to be released I think.

Do you have username and password to use this or the UVO app?

That is good news, hopefully will be fully released at least by the time i take delivery.

You need to register to use UVO, so guessing Ohme will use those details to access systems info it needs.
