Hi guys, my drivers side window won’t go fully up, it is only up by an inch or so, will go down fully but will not go up any further.
the door cards been taken off and the motor seems to be turning fine, the fuse hasn’t blown. It seems to try to rise but sticking ?
we have tried to manually pull the glass up but it won’t rise up. It did shudder once on a frosty morn. Any ideas please:cry:

Possibly the Steel Wire that moves the Windows up and down is frayed.
Changed one on my 5 Door Ceed. Quite fiddly.

If you have the Door Card off, you can open the Plastic Access Doors and unbolt the Window from the Mechanism to make sure the Glass moves Ok when it is not connected to the Mechanism,

Glad to hear it is sorted. :)
There is a water trap in the Regulator that the Wire sits in and rusts.
Mine snapped and the Window fell down !
Only about £10 for the Wire but was a pretty tricky job.
