Im aware it comes with a repair kit that pumps in sealing liquid and inflates the tyre but can this also be used to simply inflate the tyres?

Does the EV3 come with a tyre inflator?
Yes, you just don't connect the gunk bottle. I had a slow puncture on our last Sportage and I used it without the gunk so that I could get to a local tyre fitter. I would only use it in an emergency.
