I’ve never had an ICE car achieve anywhere near the range they say they should. I’m running a BMW 320i at the moment and I’m getting <30mpg real world use. BMW figures suggest much more.
It’s only because it’s easier to fill up (but eye wateringly more expensive) than electric that people don’t complain bitterly about how they compare to the published figures. Modern BEV generally seem to be exceeding Original expectations on life expectancy, plus the ownership model has and will continue to change.

Oh, it could be worse.... hang on a minute, errr, mebbe it couldn't on third thoughts.......
Pedal power anyone? Maybe the Sinclair C5 is due a comeback? :unsure:

As i've said before, i'm not against BEV's at all, if it works for you, then great, crack on and buy one

What i am against, is everyone being forced to take the same option, as the BEV option certainly won't work for a large proportion of the population

And also, the more folk who take up BEV's now, mean more petroleum for the rest of us to enjoy ;) 🏍🚗
