Hi graham, i dont know about a dedicated loom, but my dealership has just quoted me £500 incl vat for supplying and fitting a towbar, saying that it needs a 'particular' loom and relay as the venga uses a 'multiplex' wiring system??Its going to hurt but im going to need to go down that route soon especially if i want to keep my warranty!
Cheers,james.

Its a dear one that. Most modern cars use a CanBus system and you have to be carefull wiring in additional electrical items or you can blow the control unit powering that circuit/item. CanBus wiring is usually wires in a twisted loom and are fairly thin.
