My September 2010 Ceed 3 CRDI auto has cruise control fitted as standard - the reason why I chose the Kia rather than its Hyundai equivalent the i30.

Most of the time it works fine but then, intermittently, it goes off. The only way to get it back on is to switch off the engine and wait a short while.

Does anybody else have this problem?

Not a problem of it cutting out, but you must use the brakes after an engine start for it to work. (The system checks the brake pedal switch as a safety check).

The steering wheel switches and brake pedal are very sensitive and the slightest touch will trip it off.
