Local traffic changes 'more divisive than Brexit'

The schemes were introduced to tackle increasing traffic on minor roads but some face fierce opposition.

Quite a few in Leeds area. Locals seem happy with them.

To me the biggest issue seems to be the parking. As they tend to be on streets with terraced housing which struggle with parking anyway. So have now lost parking spaces they need.

Big in Bath with cameras everywhere to monitor older cars/vans/ trucks being charged from £9 to £100 a day to enter zone so some older taxi’s it’s an extra £9 a day.
