Anyone fitted a Cold Air Intake?

Just interested in anyone that has had one fitted and what make (K&N ... Cheap E-bay) fitted the stock intake system.

Mostly interested in the 1.0L turbo engine.

I know they fit these to the Platinum Cup cars. They are stock off the street 1.25 litre models though and given they put out 73 kW, I think they must have a modified ECU to produce more torque at the top end of the rev range (though I am sure the K&N intake and the modified exhaust help). They certainly sound good at any rate.

You might not remember but 4 months ago my car got written off, still waiting for the new one, car showrooms only opened today.

Saying that, I will get my car either tomorrow or Wednesday.

There is a car on the website that suggests it has a cold air intake on a Picanto, in the “Top Photos/Showcase” section:
Ichinahui's 2018 Kia Picanto GT Line T-gdi

Might be worth messaging Ichinahui, I’ll wait until I get my car first.

Looks like it has a piggyback chip too. I would think that setup would allow to hotter air unless there is a bigger intercooler!

I emailed them last night. They do the S version here in AU for $295 which is 88kW/ 210Nm. But they did not give any info on the intake.

I think I will go that just for fun as that should be a noticeable increase :p
