Changing manual gearstick gaiter

Feedback.
I changed the gearstick gaiter on the weekend.
with my particular model it requires me to pull out the Centre console.
Not as big a job as I expected, 6 screws and a bit of jiggling and it was out (remember to take the gearstick knob off first.
There are numerous videos of replacing the gaiter once out.
You have to unscrew the securing brace and remove the staples.
Then fit the new gaiter and re-staple the gaiter back on
Screw the brace back in and re-install the center console again.
No more black crap shedding all over the car. (Why a nearly white interior? its just not right.)

Anyhow, all done.
