Pretty sure that a std UK Picanto might just have a unit built into the dash, rather than the one stuck on top.

Perhaps OP could confirm.

 

If you scroll down on the page, you can see the picture of the dashboard this unit fits. The tricky part is to remove the original unit, a little difficult, but possible. Otherwise It's plug & play.

 

But that is US spec. Which could well be totally different to Uk spec.

 

Kia Picanto is not available for sale in the US market . Did you look at the pictures. The steering wheel is on the right side, like in UK.
