hi kia owners,i have just changed my petrol ceed for ceed sw diesel manual gears,,but im thinking my fuel consumption is not as good as petrol ceed,im getting about 36 mpg on a run?has any body out there running a 16 diesel ceed sw,that can let me know what they are getting mpg?

Hi and welcome Sheri. Is your diesel Ceed a new one or very low miles as these engines need time to loosen up before you achieve good mpg.

Hold back until 20k miles are accumulated.
I think the fuel economy will get better as the miles rack up.
Also a second service will help (not sure if a Ceed's service interval is every 10k miles).

36 mpg i would question how your calculating that as i am running a new ceed and getting 51 mpg with less than 1500 miles on the clock, would expect avarage on a high power sw to be in the mid 40's
