My 21 plate sportswagon has had to be taken into the dealers to deal with the same possible fault that has happened on other models, of the hybrid drive bearings failing...
Car is squeeling like a pig when the regen is happening.
AA guy looked at it, put tester on, found a couple of active faults and said, best get it taken in ...
Let's see how long before it comes back home ....

Quick update...
Spoke to dealers earlier, and was told that it will have to join the queue of 8 cars that have been taken in with that fault..
Could be in there quite a while .....

I spoke to a Kia dealer service agent who acknowledged the fault exisited, with a bit of prompting but wouldn't be drawn into in depth conversation over it. I am sorry to hear about your car.

Popped into dealers to get a couple of bits that were needed out of the car, and have been informed that it will require an engine rebuild as crank damaged .
Mine is no 10 in the list to be done, with another 15 behind it..
Parts for the first car that they had, have just turned up 4 months after it was towed in..
May get back in time for Christmas ...
