This may seem like a stupid question, but is the 12 volt
socket in the rear of the Ceed 3 SW live, even when the ignition is not
on? If I use the front 12 volt socket
for my satnav when I take the key out of the ignition the satnav shuts down,
however last weekend we used one of those 12 volt cool boxes and even with the
key out of the ignition the coolbox unit kept working. I looked in the handbook for an answer to no
avail. Surely this would be a drain on
the battry if left plugged in? If any
one has any info I'd be much oblidged.

Cheers Zoobs

Test it by sticking your sat nav in and removing the car key from the ingition.

It makes sense for cool box to be powered 24-7, its not a heavy drain, but something to be aware of if you leave it a long time.

Surely your satnav would keep on running using its own internal battery once the ignition was turned off?Must check by 12v boot socket now...you've got me wondering.

If you have a sat nav with a weak battery like mine then it wont run on its battery.
