I have 2014 Kia Ceed. When applying the brakes on a road with potholes ( almost all roads are full of them ) speeds ranging from 10-30 mph the pedal is very hard to press I have to use my full body weight on it to make the car stop. This only happens when going over a pothole as if something is stuck between the brake pad and disc. On an flat road they work perfectly fine. I have had Arnold Clark to look at them where I bought the car and even a private garage both cant find a fault. Any help would be appreciated

Could be ABS kicking in. If you hit brakes just as wheel is off the road, then ABS will kick in to stop wheel locking up.

As ABS does make brake pedal hard.
